Nelson Waneka is an attorney at Levin Sitcoff Waneka PC.  He specializes in insurance recovery litigation on behalf of individuals, businesses, and community associations.  He likewise handles a great number of appeals in Colorado state and federal courts.  He has been recognized for his work by Best Lawyers In America, Colorado Super Lawyers, and has been selected as a 5280 Magazine top lawyer in insurance law for five years in a row.  In addition, he was selected by his peers as “2020 Lawyer of the Year” for the specialty of insurance law in the State of Colorado.  Nelson lives in Glenwood Springs with his wife Carrina, together with their daughters Harlow and Olive.

Holly Jewett, a parent at Two Rivers since the Fall of 2014, joins the Board with a wide-range of experiences: from University Lecturer to Community Liaison for the South African MotoGrand Prix, from opening a luxury property in Aspen to planning luxury trips to Aspen/Snowmass. Her community involvement is also varied: as a Board Member for Glenwood Springs Summer of Music, she loves joining our Community for free music during the summer, and as a Board Member for Advocate Safehouse Project, she has been a hotline volunteer for over seven years. Holly lives in Glenwood Springs with her son, a sophomore at Glenwood Springs High School, and daughter, a sixth grader at TRCS. Holly and her children enjoy all outdoor activities when not wrapped up in football and soccer training!

Johnny Mendoza

Johnny Mendoza is a devoted father and community leader who was born and raised in Colorado's scenic Roaring Fork Valley. He currently resides in Silt, CO with his wife and three children, one of whom is enrolled at TRCS and another who will be joining soon. In addition to his full-time job as a father of three, Johnny is a respected regional leader at ANB Bank, where he is known for his exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence. He currently serves on the board for Community Health Initiatives, a Glenwood Springs-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting healthy behaviors through prevention efforts across Western Colorado. He also volunteers his time regularly for Junior Achievement, to help educate school-age children on the importance of financial literacy. Johnny's passion for education and community service has driven him to become an active participant in his community, where he works tirelessly to make a positive impact.

Jocelyn Kochevar -jocelyn.kochevar@tworiverscs.org

Jocelyn Kochevar, a Colorado native, has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for nearly 30 years. She spent 17 years working in public education; 10 years as a high school teacher and 7 as a high school counselor. During this time Jocelyn was an active member of the school’s senior management team and the extended leadership team, and played an instrumental role in managing school processes, decision making and planning.  Jocelyn has a Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and a Master’s degree from Colorado Mesa University.   Currently Jocelyn is a realtor with Keller Williams in Glenwood Springs, and resides in New Castle with her husband and two children who have been a part of the TRCS community since 2016.

Jess Hedden

 jess.hedden@tworiverscs.org\ Jess Hedden runs her own political consulting firm, Hedden Community Solutions. She has worked with various individuals, nonprofits, and government entities across the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys doing community organizing, facilitation, coalition building, grant writing and campaign management for the last 10 years. Jess is a strong proponent of language justice and building communities where everyone belongs. She lives in New Castle with her two kids, Lucy and Eli, who attend Two Rivers Community School.

Rachel Forbes Manwaring

**Rachel Forbes Manwaring, MSW (she/her), **is an Associate Professor of the Practice of Social Work and the Western Colorado Master of Social Work (MSW) Program director at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. She is an appointed member of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Commission on Educational Policy, the inaugural cochair of the CSWE Committee on Environmental Justice, and a former member of CSWE’s Council on Global, Learning and Practice. Rachel was the taskforce cochair for the CSWE Curricular Guide for Environmental Justice (2020). She is co-editor of the book Ecosocial Work: Environmental Practice and Advocacy (2023) and co-author of the book *The Intersection of Environmental Justice, Climate Change, Community and the Ecology of Life *(2021). Rachel is an elected member of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers Board of Directors. She has taught coursework on sustainability, ecological justice, culture and place-based equity, and fostering sustainable behavior across undergraduate and graduate programs for over 10 years. Rachel’s current research and teaching looks at the impacts of climate change on mental health and ecological justice social work practice. Her work has been published in Environmental Justice and has been funded by the CSWE Katherine A. Kendall Institute for International Social Work. Rachel lives in Glenwood Springs with her husband, Shawn, and her children Dawson, Sawyer and Ella. Rachel's local service includes her Board of Directors appointments at the Our School Preschool and the Western Mountain Region Health Alliance. As a professional social worker, Rachel is dedicated to the health and well being of the Roaring Fork Valley and Colorado's Western Slope. She is an avid reader, who can be found curled up with a book in her free time or outside enjoying nature

Rosie Aguilar

Rosie Aguilar was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, has been a member of the Roaring Fork Valley

community for over 22 years, residing in Glenwood Springs with her husband and daughter. Her

daughter, a TRCS 2024 graduate, is now a freshman at Glenwood Springs High School. Rosie

was an active member of the TRCS PTO, the former Staff Appreciation Chair, and enjoys

volunteering at many TRCS events. She has mainly worked in healthcare working at Mountain

Family Health Centers, Planned Parenthood, Roaring Fork Neurology/ Mountain Neurological

Research Center and Aspen Valley Hospital. In each of these workplaces, she has worn many

hats from clinical staff as Medical Assistant and Clinic Research Professional to Non-clinical

leadership roles as an administrative assistant, quality improvement coordinator, and Team

Culture committee member. She received a life coach certification through the Cooper Institute,

clinical research professional certificate through the SOCRA program, and Roaring Fork

Leadership (RFL) Masterminds alumni.
